GATEWAY

1. Mount the antenna onto the SMA connector on the Things 
Gateway .
2. (Optionally) Mount the ethernet cable.
3. Plug in the 12V 2A power adapter into the Things 
Gateway.
4. Continue with the steps as described in the illustrated 
quick start guide for the Things Gateway found on 
https://ttn.fyi/activate.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
The Things Gateway shall only be connected to an external 
power supply rated at 12V 2A. Any external power supply 
used with the Things Gateway shall comply with relevant 
regulations and standards applicable in the country of 
intended use.
Use a 915 MHz / 868 MHz tuned, 50 Ohm impedance 
antenna for use with the SMA connector.
The Things Gateway should be operated in a well ventilated 
environment. Do not expose the Things Gateway  to heat 
from any source; The Things Gateway is designed for reliable 
operation at normal ambient room temperatures (50-86°F).
The Things Gateway should be used in a vertical position, on 
a stable, non-conductive surface and should not be 
contacted by conductive items.
When the Things Gateway is being used always connect the 
right antenna to the SMA connector.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with 
the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of 
the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide 
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a 
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and 
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and 
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful 
interference to radio communications. However, there is no 
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular 
installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or 
television reception, which can be determined by turning the 
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to 
correct the interference by one or more of the following 
measures:
-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-- Increase the separation between the equipment and 
receiver.
-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different 
from that to which the receiver is connected.
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician 
for help.
 
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits 
set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment 
should be installed and operated with minimum distance 
20cm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter 
must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any 
other antenna or transmitter.
The Things Gateway operates on the 915 MHz ISM band 
using the LoRaWAN protocol. Use a 915 MHz tuned, 50 
Ohm impedance antenna. Bluetooth Low Energy & Wifi 
operate on the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
The Things Gateway is powered by a 12V 2A power adapter.
