as unique as a fingerprint. The Testa Motari edition CHERRY keyboards are just as
distinctive. Vavona burl, macassar ebony and satin walnut are the three types of wood
used to refine the STRAIT corded keyboard and thus make each one of them unique.
Naturally, the wood comes from a European supplier certified for sustainable forestry. No
tropical wood is used. Our partner Testa Motari has
long experience in hand-finishing industrial goods,
including clocks, laptops and even coffee makers. The
design workshop from Germany’s Ore Mountains
makes good-looking products into things of beauty.
“CHERRY is a company that is known for its expertise in keyboards. That’s why we want
to set the standards not only in technology, but also in design”, says the product
manager Stefanie Ertl. “We took a long time looking before we found Testa Motari as the
ideal partner to put our ideas into practice. We are aiming for a long-term partnership,
because we are not short of inspiration for more products, and we may even be able to
implement our customers’ own ideas.”
Prices and availability: The STRAIT exclusive Testa Motari edition will be available
from specialist dealers from the end of June 2011. Prices are available on request.
