9 Transport packaging
All suppliers of packaging to Gigaset Communications GmbH are members of RESY (Orga-
nisation für Wertstoff- Entsorgung GmbH). RESY, an organisation for the disposal of valu-
able materials, was established in light of the German Packaging Ordinance. This ensures
the return and recycling of paper and cardboard packaging used in transportation within
Germany. Each user is given a four-digit ID that, along with the RESY symbol, must be prin-
ted clearly and visibly on paper and cardboard transport packaging.
