The outdoor dome camera housing shall be a
Panasonic Model PODV9CPT, PODV9CWT or
equivalent. The housing shall be designed for
the Unitized Surveillance Device Series
WV-CS954/WV-CS574/WV-NS324. The PODV9CT
housing shall be a pendant mount, and the
PODV9CWT shall be a wall mount housing.  The
enclosure shall also be equipped with 24 VAC
input blowers and thermostatically controlled
heaters. The housing top and wall/pendant mount
bracket shall be manufactured from durable cast
aluminum. The dome shall be made of an injection
molded, optically clear, polycarbonate blend
material. The dome shall be held in place with
minimum of (3) fasteners, and a safety cable shall
be provided to hold the dome while servicing.
Access to the enclosure shall be from below with
(3) captive fasteners. A twist-off feature shall allow
for the final removal of the dome. On pendant
models all incoming wires will enter the unit
through the top of the housing. A 1

release coupling will be provided at the top of the 
unit for ease of installation and quick removal of
the unit. On wall mount models all incoming wires
will enter through the back of the wall mount and
run up into the housing. An access door located
at the bottom of the wall mount will allow for easy
hook up of all incoming wire connections.
The housing shall include a camera mounting
bracket that integrates a heater, blower, video and
power surge protector capable of clamping
differential node voltage between 240 - 300V and
common mode voltage from 27 - 36V. The
housing shall be powered with 24VAC (60Hz) and
have a power consumption not to exceed 68W
including Unitized Camera. The blower shall draw
1.6W continuous power. The 50W heater shall
turn on at 40°F (5°C) and turn off at 60°F (15°C).
A ground isolation transformer, Panasonic model
PWBT1621, shall be available as an option. The
housing shall support a temperature range of -20°
to 120°F (-29°C to +50°C).
