Travelstar C4K60 is the first 1.8-inch hard drive to offer the ZIF connector. With its 
embedded, latch-type connector located under the drive base and smaller flexible cable, 
this drive provides cost savings for handheld device designs. Travelstar C4K60 delivers

Hitachi introduces enhancements to the 
Travelstar C4K60 series, a 4200 rpm, 1.8-inch 
hard disk drive designed to meet the needs 
of ultra-portable electronic devices. The new 
Travelstar C4K60, at 30GB/platter, offers a full 
range of capacities up to 60GB. This series of 
drives delivers both 1 and 2-disk IDE models 
for traditional 50-pin connections, and 1-disk 
models designed with a ZIF connector specifi-
cally for CE devices. Design enhancements 
include a smaller footprint on the 1-disk ZIF 
connector models, and new larger capacities 
on the 2-disk IDE models, exceptional shock 
tolerance, whisper-quiet acoustics, and low 
power consumption. This winning set of char-
acteristics makes the Travelstar C4K60 series 
the perfect solution for your storage-intensive
