The smart switch's non-blocking architecture provides your network with full-wire 

speed connections, ensuring no bottlenecks is caused as a result of the switch. The 

smart switch's flow control (back pressure/IEEE802.3x) ensures reliable packet 

transfer and prevents packet lost, thus increasing reliability and performance.

Each of the switch's ports is able to auto sense whether your cable is the normal or 

cross over type, so you don't need to worry about having the wrong cables.

The smart switch supports Port-based VLAN, enabling you to segment network 

traffic and set broadcast domains in order to improve the overall performance of 

your network.

The smart switch's QoS (IEEE 802.1p) function allows you to define which 

user/application has greater priority over others when accessing the network. 

Users/applications can be categorized as four levels of priority. When packets are 

buffered in the switch, users/applications with high priority will have precedence 

over users/applications with the low priority.

The smart switch’s trunking function allow several ports to be aggregated as a single 

connection, thus increasing the bandwidth connection between the smart switch and 

a sever/another switch.
