The DLT-V4 tape drive delivers enterprise-class features along

with an enhanced 320GB* capacity and a speed of 20MB/sec*

– all at an amazingly affordable price. The DLT-V4 drive

ensures vital business data is protected and secure at the

lowest cost per gigabyte in its class at just $0.12/GB.  

The DLT-V4 is compatible with an installed base of a half-a-

million drives and provides three generations of backward-

read compatibility.  It uses DLTtape

®

VS1 media with backward

compatibility to the DLT VS160, DLT VS80 and DLT1 tape

drives and also has added DLTSage WORM™ archival 

functionality using standard media.  The DLT-V4 easily 

integrates into today’s entry-level servers with a half-height

format and your choice of interfaces – SATA II, USB 2.0,

eSATA or Ultra 160 SCSI.  

The DLT-V4 is equipped with DLTSage™, a suite of intelligent

data protection tools that enable you to more effectively

manage and protect your tape storage environment. And, for

added security, the DLT-V4 now ships standard with DLTSage

Tape Security allowing users to create electronic keys to 

prevent unauthorized access to data on the tape cartridges.
