Maintenance Concepts
Maintenance for the Zebra XiII Thermal Transfer Demand Printer can be divided
into two basic categories.

This section of the manual contains Preventive Maintenance procedures and
Operator Care instructions. These procedures may be performed by the
operator as well as the Service Technician and should be performed on a
regular basis. Preventive Maintenance consists of a visual inspection and
general cleaning of the interior and exterior of the printer. Preventive

Tools Required
A Preventive Maintenance Kit (part # 01429) containing six cleaning swabs
soaked in solvent (alcohol) is available from Zebra Technologies Corporation.
