Disharge Procedure 
1.  Turn off the power of the indoor/outdoor unit and pull out the power supply plug. 
2.  After power is turned off, wait for 15 minutes or more. Then remove the electrical parts cover and apply soldering iron of 30 to 

75W at the positive and negative terminals of IPM, and discharge the charge voltage of the smoothing capacitor. 

 
Applicable models : RAK-18/25/35PSA / RAC-18/25/35WSA, RAK-18/25/35PSAN / RAC-18/25/35WSAN , RAK-18/25/35PSPA 
/ RAC-18/25/35WSPA

2.     After power is turned off, wait for 10 minutes or more. Then remove the electrical parts cover and apply soldering iron of 30 to 

75W for 15 seconds or more to TAB05 and R001 terminals on the main P.W.B. as shown in the figure below. In order to 
discharge voltage in smoothing capacitor

Do not use a soldering iron with transformer: Otherwise, 
thermal fuse inside transformer will be blown.
