The baying kit is used to join two or more racks together in minutes to crate a multi-
bay configuration.  The baying kit supports 24” and 600mm floor tile spacing.  Sides 
of adjacent rack frames are joined together and optional side panels are then placed 
on the two ends of the multi-bay configuration. 
 

This baying kit is used to connect 9000 and 10000 series racks of the same U heights together. The kit includes 
the baying kit hardware in addition to a 100mm deep, graphite metallic panel to cover up the gap on the side of 
the 10000 series rack.

The Sliding Shelf Kit is a sliding ventilated shelf that allows for rack-
mountable products to be mounted at any height within Compaq Racks.  This 
Sliding Shelf Kit mounts on slides that allow you to pull the shelf in and out of 
the rack for easy access, maintenance and upgrading.  The Sliding Shelf is 
17.32” (439.9 mm) wide and 19.69” (500.1 mm) deep with a load capacity of 
110 lbs (49.9 kg).  One cable management arm per kit.   
 
*NOTE: the 100kg sliding shelf 234672-B21 will replace this kit.
