Portable Storage Enclosure and an Access Point into one device.

SATA/IDE Hard Disk Drive*. It further provides high-speed wireless network access at

The WAP-0008 further includes an additional two USB2.0 ports that allows users to connect
the storage enclosure to external USB devices such as USB hard disk and other USB storage
drives.
The USB ports allow for hot-swap of external storage devices without turning the device on
and off. This feature makes it more efficient when different storage devices need to be
attached and removed from the WAP-0008.

802.11b/g Wireless Solution
The WAP-0008 Portable Storage Enclosure is also a multi-purpose wireless solution with its
build-in wireless 802.11b and 802.11g wireless capability providing network speeds of up to
54Mbps.. The WAP-0008 can provide network access to wireless network devices by acting
as a bridge between wired Ethernet and wireless LAN networks to provide network access
to both networks.
It can further be used to extend network coverage within the home where ADSL routers
lack wireless capability or where wireless networks suffer from insufficient wireless
coverage.
