LevelOne’s VOI-1020 is a single port VoIP telephone adapter which
is the most cost-effective and highly reliable analog Voice over IP
device. The VOI-1020 transforms toll quality voice data over IP
networks and seamlessly connects to your analog phone system.

VOI-1020 adaptes the H.323 protocol to provide the advanced
Internet telephony solutions and ensures the compatibility with most
popular VoIP equipment. The device offers Comfort Noise
Generation (CNG) at the receiving terminal so the user knows the
line has not dropped. Regarding to the voice codec, VOI-1020
supports voice compression standards such as G.729 and G.711.
These standards minimize the bandwidth requirement for voice
transmission but still provide high quality voice reproduction. This
system supported G.168, Echo Cancellation which is located in the
4-wire portion of the circuit used for echo reduction by digitally
subtracting an estimated echo from the circuit echo.
