Special Features
Optimised Operating Software
This Twin charger can be powered by a single 10.0~18.0v DC or 110~220v AC power
source. When charging or discharging NiCd/NiMH batteries, the Sigma EQ Twin has
‘AUTO’ functions that set the feed current automatically. Alternatively, these can be set
manually.

For Lithium batteries, the Sigma EQ Twin can help prevent the over-charging that can
potentially lead to an explosion, purely through an error. Every program in the unit is
controlled with specialised software to detect almost every error, providing maximum
safety. These parameters can be set at the operators discretion if required.

The ports on the side of the charger suit XH style connectors and a balance board for
this type is not required. Optional boards available for other balance plug connectors.

High Power and High Performance Circuit
Each circuit of The Sigma EQ Twin has a maximum output power of 50W. As a result,
each can charge or discharge up to 15 cell NiCd/NiMH packs and 6 series Lithium
packs with a maximum current of 5.0A. Furthermore, the cooling system is so efficient
that can hold such power without any trouble running the CPU or operating programs.
If the combination of current and voltage exceeds 50W, the circuit will limit the current
automatically to prevent exceeding 50W.

Integral Balancer for Lithium Batteries
Each circuit of the Sigma EQ Twin has a cell voltage balancer inside. It automatically
balances the individual cell voltages in a pack when charging all types of Lithium battery
(Lilo/LiPo/LiFe). To use this, the pack must be fitted with a balance adaptor lead/plug
and be connected to the appropriate charger through the balance port sockets of that
circuit.
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this Sigma EQ Twin Charger by Ripmax.
Each circuit is fully independant and provides you 50W of output power, plus a rapid
charger/discharger and integrated balancing circuit. It is computerised with a high
performance microprocessor and specialised operating software. Each circuit output
can maintain your battery at its best condition and control it safely. Please read this
operating manual completely as it contains a wide variety of specific programming and
safety information.
You need to keep this manual in a safe place, and be sure to pass it on to the new
