2.4.1 Using Active Objects

Moving the mouse pointer over an active object highlights the active object; as noted, the object turns

red.

For example, the MPIO_A active object changes from its inactive state to its active state when the mouse
pointer enters the amplifier symbol, as

shows.

Clicking the activated object triggers its function, as shown in

Figure 2-3

. In the case of the MPIO_A active

object, the function is a dialog box with options to configure the MPIO_A of the PCM9211.The
CodecControl software updates the appropriate register in the TI audio codec.
