Background 

To test the USB functionality, National 
Instruments Measurement and Automation 
Explorer can be used. This program is available 
on the NI website,

for the VISA Run-time Engine page, or

Operating System: Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 

Functionality 
check 

1.  Open the Windows Device Manager to see 

which COM port the PCS has been assigned. 
Using Windows 7, press:
