Serial Cable Selection
Barcom
A memory-resident (TSR) serial port to keyboard input converter for serial input decoders that are connected to MS-DOS
based computers. Includes both 3.5 ”and 5.25 ” diskettes. Also, see Serial Input Software .
Eavesdrop
Eavesdrop configuration requires a data cable with three connectors: one each for the existing data cable,the terminal’s
serial port, and the decoder. Determine the cable you need from answers to the following questions.
1. What gender connector is on the computer (serial port)?
