Troubleshooting
PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO THE GPS
If you can’t get a GPS fix, try these steps:
•  Make sure that you are outside. It can be very difficult to acquire a fix
indoors.
•  Move away from buildings and tall trees. Large structures can block
the satellite signals.
•  Stand still. Movement can increase the time it takes for the GPS to
acquire a satellite signal.
PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO THE HEART RATE SENSOR
If you can’t get heart rate data from the sensor, try these steps:
•  Make sure heart rate sensor is on and is fitted correctly. Poor
placement can keep the heart rate sensor from obtaining a reading.
•  Use the SENSORS menu to search for the heart rate sensor. There may
have been a problem with the previous pairing operation.
•  Install a fresh battery in the heart rate sensor. A low battery can make
the heart rate sensor signal weak or nonexistent.
