Before cutting out the foil at the servo holders, we recommend that the wings be ironed again in this area.

Find the servo shaft covers at the bottom of the wing in
the area of the wing centre. Cut out this area carefully
with a cutter knife.

The longitudinal slots for the rods must be cut into the
servo shaft covers as well (arrows in figure 9).

Create suitable extension cables for the aileron servos.
For reasons of safety, we recommend soldering the
servo cables to the extension ones (instead of using
plugged extension cables).

Insert the extended servo cables into the servo shaft
and out of the wing again by the rib.

Then you can install the servos in the servo holders of
the servo shaft covers and attach the rudder horns at a
right angle.

For this, the servos must be installed with two screws from the servos’ scope of delivery each so that the servos are
installed on the servo chute covers so that the servo rudder horn protrudes centrally from the longitudinal slots (figure
9, item 1).

The servo shaft covers are screwed on with four grub screws 1.5 x 6 mm after completion of all work (figure 9, item 2).

The ailerons are attached to the wings by four rudder hinges each.

The rudder hinge slots are pre-installed ex works. Mark the positions of the rudder hinges before removing the ailerons.

Glue the rudder hinges into the ailerons with super glue first. Observe that the hinges do not protrude too far into the
ailerons.

Then glue the ailerons to the respective wing with super glue as well so that a gap of approx. 1 mm results and the
ailerons are flush with the leading edges of the wings.
