a) Remove Car Body
Pull out the four retention clips and then remove the small plastic spacers. The the vehicle body can then be lifted
off.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
Uncoil the aerial cable completely and smooth it out care-
fully. Then insert the aerial cable through the attachment
at the vehicle from below and then through the included
aerial tube.
Plug the aerial tube into the respective holder at the vehic-
le (see arrow in the figure on the right). Let any excess ae-
rial cable protrude loosely from the tip of the aerial tube.
The aerial cable may not be plugged into the holder yet at
delivery of the vehicle.
Removing the battery holder helps to thread it through the
holder more easily. For this, turn out the four screws that
fasten the battery holder to the chassis.
Make sure that the aerial cable does not protrude into the drive or touch the cardan shaft. It is normally
sufficient to slightly tighten the cable or fix it in place with a cable tie. Never shorten the aerial cable! Never
coil the aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range!
c) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries into the Transmitter
Open the transmitter’s battery compartment and insert either batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries. Obser-
ve correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again.
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Taking the Transmitter into Operation
Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving functions into the centre positions.
If the transmitter has a dual rate function, deactivate it or set it to unlimited steering deflection. Please also note the
operating instructions of the remote control.
