  The speed controller is already pre-programmed with the most sensible pre-settings ex works.

 

Before commissioning the vehicle, however, the correct battery type (e.g. LiPo or NiMH) must be program-

med in the speed controller, or else there may be (e.g. in LiPo batteries) deep discharge, causing damage 

to the rechargeable battery.

Proceed as follows for programming:
•  Switch off the speed controller (switch position „OFF“).
•  Switch on the transmitter.
•  Keep the programming button in the on/off switch pushed with a pointed tool (e.g. a ballpoint pen) and switch on the

speed controller (do not let go of the button yet!). The speed controller emits 3 signal sounds. The LED flashes red

briefly and goes out. Then release the button again.

  The signal sounds are generated by brief activation of the electric motor.

•  The LED in the speed controller slowly flashes 1x now (red, long break, red, long break, etc.).
 Pushing the programming button briefly several times permits selection of one of the four programming modes (the

programming mode description is found below in the text):

 LED flashes 1x: Programming mode „Reverse Power“
 LED flashes 2x: Programming mode „Start Power“
 LED flashes 3x: Programming mode „Drag Brake“
 LED flashes 4x: Programming mode „Battery Type“
 Pushing the button briefly one more time will return the speed controller to the programming mode „Reverse Power“;

the LED flashes 1x.

•  Once you have selected a programming mode by briefly pushing the button repeatedly, you need to keep the pro-

gramming button pushed for about two seconds for confirmation. A long signal sounds; the LED lights up green and

then goes out again. Release the programming button now. 

•  The speed controller LED now flashes green.
•  Briefly pushing the programming button repeatedly permits changes to the settings of the previously selected pro-

gramming mode (the programming mode description is found below in the text).

 The number of flashes of the LED (green) shows the currently programmed value.
•  To end programming, keep the programming button pushed for approx. two seconds. A long signal sounds; the LED

lights up green and then goes out again. Release the programming button now. 

 The LED flashes green/red quickly. After a melody signal sound, the LED remains lit in green (display for neutral

position). The speed controller is now ready for operation.
