ScandAll PRO V2 Premium additionally features a powerful new 

“ScanSnap mode” function that makes the device perfect for personal 

productivity office tasks, which do not require special scan settings. 

At the press of a button you can capture the document to a PDF and 

automatically drop it in document or picture folders. ScanSnap mode 
also lets you scan straight into Microsoft® Word, Excel or PowerPoint 
documents, send your document to Microsoft® SharePoint, and even 
edit the PDF before it’s saved. 

Also bundled as standard is centralised administration software 

that dramatically reduces the cost and effort of setting-up, 
operating and maintaining many scanners in an organization 

- and in expanding the scanner network to multiple remote 

locations. System administrators can manage the installation 
of multiple PC-attached scanners and network scanners from a 

single location, manage client and server devices on the network, 
establish scanner groups, monitor operational status, update 
drivers and software, and much more. This software ensures 
instant response to scanner errors and timely alerts when 
consumables are running low.

The fi-6670A and fi-6770A come with a pre-installed VRS CGA 

board that offers hardware supported, accelerated image 
processing, functionality and performance. These models are 
the first in their class to offer hardware assisted VRS CGA and this 
sees the fi-6670A and fi-6770A performing at greater speed when 
utilising combinations of advanced VRS imaging features. Sharper 
images are created from documents that may be stained or darkly 
coloured in less time, compared to the software version of VRS. 

The fi-6670 and fi-6670A can be operated with an imprinter that 

prints up to 40 user-defined alpha-numeric characters on the 
documents reverse sides such as the date and other relevant 
information, thus clearly marking them as scanned and making 
them easier to retrieve, especially when combining this with a 
virtual imprint on the digital image.

Ultrasonic double feed detection comes as standard with 
the fi-6670 series and fi-6770 series scanners. This impressive 
functionality ensures that should double feeds occur due to 
stuck or stapled paper in the batch, the sensors identify and 
interrupt the scanning process to prevent possible damage to the 
document and also thereby ensuring that all documents in the 
batch are scanned. Additionally, advanced intelligence allows for 
drastically improved batch scanning by allowing the ultrasonic 
double-feed detection sensor to ignore intentional overlapping 
documents such as a receipt taped to an expense report, post-it

routine profiles that can easily be ex- and imported by multiple 
scan stations. ScandAll PRO V2 Premium also provides automatic 
job separation functionality using separator sheets with printed 
barcodes and patch codes as well as 2D codes (matrix codes) to sort 
image data from multiple page feeds into user-defined files. This 
function has been developed for fast batch scanning even of mixed 
document loads, improving overall work efficiency.
