4. Clean area around the spark plug.

removal of the spark plug to make sure no dirt can

7. Inspect the spark plug for:
x Cracked or chipped insulator
x Excessive wear
x Spark plug gap (the acceptable limit of 0.024 –

If the spark plug fails any one of the conditions
listed above, replace the plug with a Champion
RN9YC plug or equivalent.

8. Install the spark plug by carefully following the steps
outlined below:

it bottoms out.
