Removing the Unit Cover
Use the following steps remove the cover on the WD Sentinel RX4100 device. These steps
are necessary to replace certain internal parts.

Before getting started, shut down the server and disconnect all external connections.

Place the unit on a clean and stable surface, with the back of the unit facing you.
3.
Release two (2) screws on the top of the unit and unscrew two (2) thumbscrews on the
back of the unit.

Push the unit cover away from you to release the cover, then lift it away from the unit
(Figure 5).
