Getting Started
This section provides information to help you set up and begin using your 3820TX tablet
thin client.

Charging the Battery
The battery in your 3820TX tablet requires charging before usage. The battery will charge
to greater than 90% in less than 90 minutes making your mobile thin client available for
use. Insert the battery into the back of the mobile thin client as shown, aligning the tabs
into the slots and then rotating the battery down until it locks in place.

Caution
Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
After installing the battery, connect the 3820TX tablet thin client using the supplied AC
adapter.
• Connect the cable from the AC adapter to the DC jack on the back right side of 3820TX
adapter.
• Connect the cable from the AC adapter to the DC jack on the back right side of 3820TX
tablet thin client.
• Connect the power cable to the AC adapter.
• Plug the power cable into the AC power outlet in the wall.
• Plug the power cable into the AC power outlet in the wall.

Use only the supplied adapters to connect to AC power.
