Google Play, formerly known as the Android Market, is a digital application 

distribution platform, which provides a world of applications and games, and 

allows users to browse and download music, magazines, books, games, and 

applications.   

From the central 

Home screen, touch the Play Store. 

Alternatively, touch 

Launcher > Play Store. 

Note: You need a Google account to use the Play Store.

  Touch Launcher > Settings > Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT > 

Google.

  Create a new Google account, or sign in if you already have one, according 

to the 

Add account wizard. Your phone is now ready to use with Gmail, Play 

store, etc. 

You can download a variety of applications, which are available either for free or 

at a cost. You need to have a working internet connection to download from 

Google play, which may incur data traffic charges.

  Find an application you are interested in by browsing through the categories, 

or by using the search function. 

2.

  Touch the item to view its description, and follow the instructions to 

complete the installation or purchase.
