Connect Audio Sources To AH66T – Options
Connect Speakers
Plug in the AH66T to Power Up
Turn On Power to All Connected Sources
Assign Keypads to Their Appropriate Zone.
Connect OLED2 Touchpads
A – Built-in Tuner Setup
B – Sources 1 thru 6 Setup
C – iPod Dock (for MetaData) Setup
D – RadioRA®2 Setup
A – Assign Zone Number
B – Repeat for Zones 2 thru 6
C – Customization
A – Connect RJ-45 Plugs On Both Ends
For audio sources with  
an analog audio output, 
connect the analog  
output to the AH66T  
RCA Input with a stereo  
RCA cable.
Once the OLED2's are connected and powered up, 
you must assign the keypads to their appropriate 
zone.
Follow the instructions on the OLED2 screen and 
assign the zone number to which the keypad is 
physically connected
1. Press UP or DOWN to find the Zone number  
  to which the keypad is connected. 
2. Press Enter and then press Enter again.  
3. The Zone number should appear on the  
 
  upper left corner.
If stacking chassis for a 12 zone configuration, please reference the full installation manual for 
connections and considerations.
Strip approximately 1/4" of insulation from 
both ends of all speaker wiring.
Twist the exposed end of the wire to ensure no 
loose strands remain.
Connect the positive speaker wire to the 
positive input of the speaker and negative 
speaker wire to each negative input of  
each speaker.

Connect & Mount IR Emitters
Connect the 3.5mm plug of each IR 
emitter into the designated port of the 
AH66T. The six IR ports labeled 1-6 are 
source specific. For example, IR port "1" 
must be mounted to the audio source 
connected to "source input 1". The "ALL 
IR OUT" port is constantly active, and 
passes ALL IR 1-6 information, regard-
less of the source selected.
The AH66T is preprogrammed with the following scenes and
point to the Lutron Radio RA® 2 phantom buttons as shown.
Dealer must program the Lutron system scenes to match
this scenario before proper operation is achieved.

Determine the best location for the AH66T and all audio source equipment  (CD player, satellite, iPod, etc.)
Run a Cat-5 wire from each room (Zone) touchpad location to the AH66T  
Run speaker wiring (16 gauge is recommended) from each speaker location back to the AH66T
Be sure to label all wires for easy identification
Turn off power to the AH66T (Disconnect from power source)
B – Terminate RJ-45 Plugs On Both Ends
Using a Cat-5 
cable stripper, 
remove about 
1 - 1/2" of the 
jacket as shown 
above.

Untwist the twist-
ed pair wires and 
arrange them in 
the order shown 
above.
Press all wires 
flat between your 
thumb and index 
fingers and cut 
the wires so they 
are 1/2" long as 
shown above.
Insert the ar-
ranged wires into 
the RJ-45 plug 
as shown above. 
The locking tab 
is facing down in 
this view.
Finally, crimp the 
connector using 
a standard RJ-45 
crimping tool.
