5-9 Outbound Transit Calls
The IPP series is capable of forwarding calls from IPH/IPC/IPE series units to local PSTN. As
the transferring unit must pay for all local charges, the sending unit must be listed in the
‘Permission List Of Outbound Transit’.
In the following example we see the routing of an Outbound Transit call originating in U.S., and
being transited through s IPH unit in Taipei. (EX：#00886226951111#)

Setting the ‘Permission List Of Outbound Transit’
1) Select ‘BASIC \ OUTBOUND TRANSIT’ on the Web Management Page
2)
In the MAC Address field set the remote unit(s) ‘MAC Address’ and ‘Phone Number’
3)
In the Route Type field drop-down box select either ‘Toll’ or ‘Local’
4)
Click ‘Apply’
