5. W ATER AN D M O ISTU R E- The appliance should not be used near w ater - near bathtub, w ashbow l, kitchen sink, laundry tub; in a w et basem ent near
a sw im m ing pool, etc.
6. C AR TS AN D STAN D S - D o not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The appliance should be used only w ith a cart
or stand that is recom m ended by the m anufacturer.
7. VEN TILATIO N - The appliance should be situated so that its location and position do not interfere w ith proper ventilation. The appliance should not
be situated on a bed, sofa, rug, or any surface that m ay obstruct cabinet openings.
8. H EAT - The appliance should be situated aw ay from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other devices (including am plifiers) that
produce heat.
9. PO W ER SO U R C ES - This product should be operated only from the type of pow er source indicated on the m arking label. If you are not sure of the
type pow er supply in your hom e, consult your product dealer or local pow er com pany. For products intended to operate from battery pow er or other
sources, refer to the operating instructions.
10. PO W ER C O R D PR O TEC TIO N - Pow er supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be w alked upon or pinched by item s placed upon
or against them , paying attention to cords and plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point w here they exit from the appliance.
11. PO LAR IZED PLU G - This appliance is equipped w ith a polarized line plug (a plug having one blade w ider than the other). This plug w ill fit into the
pow er outlet only one w ay. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still fails to
fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. D o not attem pt to defeat this safety feature.
12. LIG H TN IN G - For added protection for this product during a lightning storm , or w hen it is left unattended and unused for long periods of tim e, unplug
it from the w all outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system . This w ill prevent dam age to the product due to lightning and pow er line surges.
13. O VER LO AD IN G - D o not overload w all outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles, as this can result in a risk of fire or electric-
shock.
14. C LEAN IN G - U nplug this product from the w all outlet before cleaning. D o not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. U se a dam p cloth for cleaning.
15. N O N -U SE PER IO D S - This am plifier should be unplugged from the outlet w hen the appliance is left unused for a long period of tim e.
16. O BJEC T AN D LIQ U ID EN TR Y - N ever push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they m ay touch dangerous voltage points or
short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. N ever spill liquid of any kind on this product.
17. D AM AG E R EQ U IR IN G SER VIC E - The appliance should be serviced by qualified personnel w hen:
a. The pow er supply cord or plug has been dam aged; or
b. O bjects have fallen on or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or
c. The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
d. The appliance does not appear to operate norm ally or exhibits a m arked change in perform ance; or
e. The appliance has been dropped or the enclosure is dam aged.
