TESTING
THE
SYSTEM
Once
all
duc9ng
and
wiring
connec9ons
have
been
made
with
this
kit
and
the
range
hood
installa9on
has
also
been
completed,
the
system

be
tested.

highest
speed
and
confirm
that
the
fresh
air
automa9c
damper
on
the
outside
of
the
home

system, ensure that the system is working in conjunc9on with the make up damper kit. A qualified HVAC contractor should also ensure that all
combus9on equipment is opera9ng and ven9ng correctly.

Regular maintenance is required so the system properly operates. Check ups and cleaning of duc9ng parts are required to ensure that fresh air
con9nues to come into the home. 1) Clean the outside bird screen to ensure that the fresh inlet isn’t blocked with debris. 2) Have a qualified
HVAC servicer provide check ups on your central air system including replacing dirty air filters to ensure filtered fresh air is coming inside. Also
during regular maintenance, have this HVAC professional inspect the make up air system for correct opera9on.
