The following connections should be made between
switch box harness and relay harness (See Fig. 8):
A. Yellow relay harness wire to yellow switch box 

harness wire.

B. Purple relay harness wire to purple switch box 

harness wire.

C. Red relay harness to red switch box harness wire.

The following connections should be made between
relay harness and switches (See Fig. 9):
D. Yellow relay harness wire to upper fan switch.
E. Purple relay harness wire to upper fan switch.
F. Red relay harness wire to lower fan switch.

6.

Re-install switch box in unit, being sure that all of the
connections between harnesses are made. Be sure
trough heater is properly installed.

7.

Run white wire through grommet where switch box
harness enters switch box. Splice white wire from
relay harness with white wire on evaporator fan.

TESTING AND VERIFYING HARNESS:
1.

Plug lower evaporator fan into cabinet harness and
plug unit in.

2.

When lower section compressor turns on, depress
both of fan switches. With both switches depressed,
fan should run. Release either fan switch, and fan
should turn off.

3.

Depress both light switches. With both light switches,
both lights should turn off. Release either light switch
and that corresponding light should turn on.

4.

When upper section compressor turns on, open door
and lights should be on, fan should be off.

5.

Depress fan switch, fan should turn on. Depress light
switch, lights should turn off.

6.

Turn unit off.

7.

With unit off, press and hold “UNIT ON/OFF” key for
10 seconds. Lights should initially turn on, and remain
on until 10 seconds has passed. Lights will turn off
and display will be blank. Unit is now in Holiday Mode.

8.

Wait for upper section compressor to turn on. When
compressor turns on, the evap. fan should turn on.
Press fan switch, the fan should remain on regardless
of fan switch position.

9.

Also, lights should remain off regardless of light 
switch position.

10.

Wait for lower section compressor to turn on. When
compressor turns on, evap. fan should turn on. Press
upper drawer fan switch, fan should stay on. Press
lower drawer fan switch, fan should stay on. Press
both fan switches at the same time, fan should stay
on regardless of position of either switch.

11.

Also, lights should remain off regardless of light 
switch positions.

12.

Re-install any fan shrouds, coldplates, and both 
lower drawers.

13.

If unit is equipped with defrost, force defrost to 
clear evap. of any ice that may have formed 
during installation.

14.

Place wiring diagram addendum in wire diagram bag
in unit area.
