The IP fax functionality transmits fax data over the IP/VoIP network. Using the IP address instead

of the fax number to specify the destination machine, IP faxing offers you a variety of benefits:

the machine, each user is asked to put in a personalised authorisation code, avoiding

unrestricted use. The memory lock functionality stores incoming faxes into memory 

and only releases them after proper authentication. The IP fax function enables secure 

and reliable fax transmission of confidential data.
