This chapter describes wiring requirements for the 8620 DET. Wiring should be performed after 

the unit is installed.

Overview

Field wiring of the 8620 DET consists of the following:

• Power (AC/DC)
•  Communications (RS-232, RS-485/422, or Ethernet)
• Digital I/O (Optional)
