9.1.2  Audio Playback
Modes with the letter “L” (L12H and L24H) are for audio recording and playback on
the linear track.
NOTES:
There is normal sound playback only when a tape recorded in 2H –
L24H modes is played back in its respective mode.
If a recording is played back in a higher mode than that in which it was
recorded, the picture is played back in slow motion. If played back in a
lower mode than that in which it was recorded, the picture is played
back in fast motion.
The picture may move up/down or noise may occur when a tape is
played back in L12H, 12H, L24H, or 24H mode (even if the tape was
recorded in L12H or L24H mode).
9.1.3  End of Tape
When the end of the tape is reached, the following functions are performed auto-
matically during playback or fast forwarding.
