INDEX SEARCH
Your VCR has the Digital Program Search Sys-
tem (DPSS). Each time you start recording, the
VCR automatically marks the tape with an in-
dex signal.

You can use index search to:
• Return to the beginning of the current
recording.
• Skip to the beginning of the next recording.
• Locate a specific recording, if there are
several recordings on a tape.

The VCR automatically adjusts tracking when
