TAPE END OUT Terminal
When the VCR detects the tape end or the time counter
shows “6H” or “8H” (depending on the TAPE setting
of the GENERAL SET menu) during recording, the
output level becomes 0 V DC. To resume the 5 V
output, press the operation button (EJECT Z, REC z,
FF M, REW m or PLAY B, etc.).

WARNING OUT Terminal
This terminal will help you to know when something
wrong has happened to the VCR during recording.
The VCR outputs a pulse signal from WARNING
OUT terminal.
Note
To turn the clog detection function off, set CLOG
DETECTION to OFF on the ALARM SET menu.
Set TAPE END WARN. to COUNTER or TAPE END
on the ALARM SET menu.
• COUNTER: the time counter shows “6:00:00”
(when using T-120 tape) or “8:00:00” (when using T-
160 tape) and a signal is output from the TAPE END
OUT terminal (recording will be continued to the end
of the tape).
• TAPE END: the VCR detects the tape end.
