The Alarm menu enables/disables internal and external alarms. Note that the 
Distress/Urgency alarm cannot be disabled. Press the [#/SETUP] key at the DSC standby 
screen, choose ALARM and then push the [ENTER] knob to display the Alarm menu.

Ship's Business and Routine calls.

Alarm is output when position is older by the 
number of hours set here.

Sets type of call to be output to the 
Incoming Indicator IC-303-DSC.

DSTRS/URG: Distress or urgency 

call output upon receipt.

ROUTINE:

Routine call output 
upon receipt.

ALL:

All calls output.

OFF:

No output.

Note: Alarm for Distress and Urgency calls 

cannot be disabled.

Disables/enables old position alarm in manual
position entry mode, which alerts the operator
when position data is older by the number of
hours or minutes set in the Position Older field. 

Message shown when manually
entered position is older than the
time set on the Alarm setup menu.
