You can use Google Talk™ instant messaging in your phone to chat with friends who also

use this application.

To start Google Talk™

From the Home screen, drag   upward.

Find and tap Talk.

To reply to an instant message with Talk

When someone contacts you on Talk,   appears in the status bar.

Drag the status bar downwards, then tap the message and begin to chat.
