Customizing Your Device 

•  Account info—contains 

information about this account, 

such as the password (

•  email Check interval—sets the 

frequency for checking for new 

e-mail. 

•  email Sync Back Days—sets 

the length of time to synchronize 

e-mail.

•  Calendar Sync Back Days—sets 

the length of time to synchronize 

the calendar.

•  email Notifications—sets how you 

are notified when you receive an 

e-mail.

•  Select Ringtone
•  Vibrate
•  Use Signature
•  Signature—see 

From the Home screen, touch   > 

Settings > Contacts.
•  Sort Contacts By—sorts contacts 

by first or last name.

•  Hide Contacts with No Phone—

hides contacts that do not have a 

phone number.

From the Home screen, touch   > 

Settings > Calendar.
•  Set Default Reminder Time—sets 

the number of minutes before an 

appointment that the device should 

notify you of the appointment.

•  Reminder Style—sets how the 

device notifies you of an upcoming 

appointment. 

•  Set Reminder Ringtone—sets 

the ringtone that notifies you of an 

upcoming appointment.
