Creating and sending an Email Message
Note: In order to use email, you need to complete
1. In the Messaging screen, tap an email account.
2. Tap the
New
button, or tap
Message
and select
New
.
3. Enter the recipient’s email address in the
To:
field. You can
also tap
To:
to pick up one or multiple recipient from your
contacts.
4. Enter the subject in the
Subj:
field.
5. Enter the message body text.
6. (Optional) Tap the
button to browse and add attachment
to the mail.
7. Tap the
Send
button to send the email. A dialog will pop up
asking whether you want to send the message immediately
or save the message to Outbox for sending later. Tap to
select an appropriate option and then tap the

Note: If for any reason the message can not be sent,
it will be stored in the Outbox.
Message Folders
By default, each message account has 4 different message
folders:

Inbox
: Contains received messages.

Outbox
: Contains messages that are ready to be sent but not
sent.
•
Draft
: Contains unfinished messages.
•
Sent
: Contains a copy of the sent messages.
You can tap a folder name at the upper right corner of each mail
account screen and tap to select a different folder.

Receiving and Viewing Messages
Important: Exercise caution when opening messages.

Receiving and Viewing SMS and MMS Messages
When you have new SMS or MMS messages, the notification icon
(
for SMS,

When viewing messages, you can tap
Message
and choose to
perform the following operations:

New
: Create a new message.
•
Reply
: Reply to the sender.
•
Reply to all
(available for MMS only): Reply to the sender and
all receivers of this message.
•
Forward
: Send the received message to other recipients.
