DTMF tones can be sent during conversation. These are often
used to access voice mail, paging and computerized home
banking. For example, you may need to input a number to
remotely access voice mail messages.

F digits (0to 9, # and *)

Using pauses allows you to send DTMF tones automatically.

F 0and hold until a “P”
appears

F DTMF digits after the
pause e.g. Enter the number
to access voice mail
messages.

When the call is successful DTMF tones will be sent after 3
seconds or when

D is pressed.

Alert Profile enables you to identify up to five callers with a
particular ring tone and alternate backlight colour, making it
easier to distinguish between callers.

When “Menu” is displayed in the option area of the display:

F B and e to point to “Personalise”

F B and e to point to “Alert Profile”

F B when “Select” is displayed

F B when “Insert” is displayed

F enter the phone number or recall from the Phonebook
– see “Retrieving a Number” page 23
