• With the pole in one hand and pin & ring in the other,
feed the pole up. Make sure the ferrules do not get
caught on the sleeves. Push the pole from
C
 to
D

evenly along its length to create an arc. Place the pin
into the end of the pole to maintain tension
across the
seam line
. See fig.2. Repeat with the longer pole from
A
 to
B
at the front of the tent. See fig 3.
• Untie and unfold the fly over the tent. Tie the long cord
to the loop at the end of the fly and the two short cords to
the loops at the side.
• This is not a freestanding tent. The cords
must be staked out. Adjust the slider to
maintain tension support. See fig.6.
• Attach the shockcord loops from the
sides of the fly to the stake. Be careful,
when finished, the fly must not come in
contact with the tent body. See fig.7
• On that side of the tent body, with attached rings
and pins
A
, slide the rubber tip of the long pole
through the sleeve, across the front of the tent. Follow
the seam to the next sleeve. Push the pole, don't pull
it. Continue until you reach the pocket on other side
of the tent
B
. Take care that the pole tip reaches to
the bottom of the pocket.
At the rear of the tent ring
and pin
C, repeat with the short pole; C to D
See fig. 1.
• At the rear of the tent, locate the two
stake out beckets (loops). Stake these into
the ground using a steel skewer. Next,
stake out the floor loops. See fig.4
• Pull the tent fabric taut. At the front of the tent, locate and
stake out the two beckets and the two floor loops. See fig.5.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS  for the SOLITAIRE TENT:
• Assemble the shock-corded poles. Try to prevent
pole sections from snapping together, as this can
damage the pole ends.
Note: Make certain each insert (male end) has
seated firmly into each plain end (female).
Note:
• This tent now features a zipper along the center of the
roof for easy, fly off, access/egress.
• Take down: Detach shockcords, open doors and pull
up stakes. Pull pins out of the tent poles and push
poles out of the sleeves. Collapse the poles and stow.
Fold the tent/fly onto itself. Roll up both towards the
door and stow.
