•  To take continuous pictures when you have Burst shooting mode turned on, touch and hold 
. The number of 
pictures you took in Burst mode appears in the lower-left corner of the screen.The camera stops taking pictures 
when you take your finger off of the icon.
Tip: You can turn on grid lines to help you center items in your picture or to make sure your picture is straight. To turn on 
grid lines, in the Camera app, tap 
 > Settings. Turn on the Display Grid Lines switch.
Turn on autofocus lock
You can use the autofocus lock on your BlackBerry device to take multiple pictures and videos without having to wait for 
the focus to adjust between takes. When you lock the focus, the area of the screen that you selected remains in focus even 
if you move your device or the image in the viewfinder changes.
Touch and hold the area on the screen that you want to lock the focus on. The
icon appears in the focus box when the 
focus is locked.
To unlock the autofocus lock feature, tap anywhere on the screen.
Turn off Face Detection
By default, the Face Detection feature on your BlackBerry device is turned on. When you take a picture and the camera 
detects faces, the faces are automatically brought into focus.

To turn off the Face Detection feature, in the Camera app, tap 
 > Settings.

Turn off the Face Detection switch.
Set the timer to take a picture
In Normal and Time Shift modes, you can use the timer on your BlackBerry device to delay taking a picture for 3 seconds or 
10 seconds. The timed delay allows you to get ready for the picture and even get into the shot yourself.
