Customizing Your Device 

From the Home screen, touch   > 

Settings > Contacts.
•  Sort Contacts By—sorts contacts 

by first or last name.

•  Hide Contacts with No Phone—

hides contacts that do not have a 

phone number.

From the Home screen, touch   > 

Settings > Calendar.
•  Set Default Reminder time—sets 

the number of minutes before an 

appointment that the device should 

notify you of the appointment.

•  Reminder Style—sets how the 

device notifies you of an upcoming 

appointment. 

•  Set Reminder Ringtone—sets 

the ringtone that notifies you of an 

upcoming appointment.

•  Set Snooze time—sets the amount 

of time to snooze when you touch 

Snooze on a calendar notification.

•  Vibrate—sets whether the device 

vibrates to notify you of an 

upcoming appointment.

From the Home screen, touch   > 

Settings > Messaging.
•  Delivery Reports—requests a 

delivery report for each SMS and 

MMS message you send.

•  Manage SiM card messages— 

allows you to copy or delete SMS 

messages stored on your SIM card.

•  SMSC—allows you to change 

the SMSC (short message service 

center) number, if necessary.

•  Read Reports—requests a read 

report for each MMS message you 

send.
