This is the most commonly used rate for high 
definition video recording.

This is the standard rate used in film.

This is the rate for PAL video.

This is the rate for NTSC color.
29 .97D
This adjusts NTSC to match real time.

This is the standard rate for black and white television.
30D
This is a rate for special situations.

Mode
Explanation
GENERATE
The internal timecode will be output at all times.
REPRO
The timecode recorded during recording will be output.
THRU
The timecode received from the device connected to 
the TIMECODE IN jack will be output without modifica-
tion from the TIMECODE OUT jack.
