Recording
When “— —” flashes for the program number
“— —” indicates an unrecorded segment. Press the
 =/0 button  to rewind the tape until “— —” stops
flashing. Then, press the )/+ button to locate the
end of the previous recording.
Recording from a microphone

Insert a cassette and locate the
point at which to begin recording.

Set the MIC SENS switch.
H: Normal
L: For loud sound

Set the REC MODE switch
Select AUTO (MUSIC or
SPEECH).
The tape-corder adjusts the
recording level automatically.
MUSIC: For music
SPEECH: For a meeting or
conference
Select MANUAL when you want
to adjust the recording level
manually. (See page 17.)

Select the sampling frequency.
Select SP (Standard Play mode 48
kHz or 44.1 kHz).
When recording in the Long Play
mode, select LP. (See page 17.)
