Select the image to protect with the control button,
then press z.
The

 (green) appears on the selected image.

After selecting all images to protect, select ENTER with
the control button, then press z.
The color of the 

-

 changes from green to white.

Select the image to unprotect in the step  1. And select ENTER with
the control button, then press z.
