You can reduce flickering and horizontal stripes on images in Creative Video Mode. By 
fine-adjusting the shutter speed, you can reduce flickering and horizontal stripes that 
appear on the camera’s image when recording the screen of a TV or PC.
This function is available when [Exposure Mode] is set to either [S] or [M] in Creative 
Video Mode.

Select the menu

Select [ON] with 3/4, and then press [MENU/SET].

Select Shutter Speed with 2/1, and then press 
[MENU/SET].
A Shutter speed
You can fine-adjust the shutter speed.
Adjust the shutter speed while looking at the screen so that 
flickering and horizontal stripes will be minimized.
If you press and hold 2/1, the shutter speed will be 
adjusted faster.
You can also adjust the shutter speed setting on the 
recording screen in increments finer than the normal adjustment method.
Canceling [Synchro Scan]
Select the [OFF] setting in step

When you set [Synchro Scan] to [ON], the available shutter speed range becomes narrower. 
The shutter speed range differs depending on the settings of [Rec Quality], [Variable Frame 
Rate], and others.
