drive mode icon appears on the LCD 
monitor.

Shooting with Self-Timer 
    If you selected Self-Timer ( ), after the Shutter button is fully pressed down, the red 
Self -Timer LED in the front of the camera will blink slowly for 7 seconds, faster for the 
remaining 3 seconds, then the image will be captured.   
    The Self-Timer is automatically deactivated once the image is taken. 
 
Continuous Shooting 
    The camera will automatically and continuously capture 3 consecutive images at 
approximately 1 images per second in 1600 x 1200 resolution. 
    To exit the Continuous Shooting function, press the 
  button until   disappears 
from the LCD.

1.  Focus range mentioned is the distance between the camera 
lens surface and the subject. 
2.  Any flash setting can be used in macro mode. 
3.  Always use the LCD monitor to compose images in macro 
mode. Shooting with the optical viewfinder is possible, 
however, images composed with the optical viewfinder might 
be off-center due to the parallax phenomenon.
