Proceed as follows when you play the music 
file imported to internal memory as BGM with 
a slideshow using photos.

Press MENU, select the 

 

(Settings) tab with 

B/b, then press 

v/V to select [Slideshow BGM 
Settings].

Press 

v/V to select [BGM ON/OFF] 

and press ENTER.

[ON]: Background music is played while 
a slideshow is run.

[OFF]: Background music is not played 
while a slideshow is run.

Notes

• Fast forward/backward playback of background 

music is not available. Also, you cannot change the 
playback order of background music files. 

• Background music cannot be played during 

playback of the video. The sound of the video file is 
played with the video. The background music for 
the photo displayed after playback of the video will 
start playback from the beginning of the next music 
file.

• If a music file to play is not selected from the 

imported music file list even if [BGM ON/OFF] is 
set to [ON], background music will not be played.

• The music files registered in internal memory at the 

factory BGM1, BGM2, and BGM3 cannot be 
deleted.

Slideshow 
BGM Settings

BGM ON/

ON*

BGM is played while a slideshow is run.

OFF

BGM is not played while a slideshow is run.

Select BGM

Displays the list of music files in internal memory and you can 
select a BGM.(BGM1*, BGM2*, BGM3*)

Import BGM

Imports music files for BGM stored on a “Memory Stick”, SD 
memory card or USB external device to internal memory.

Delete BGM

Deletes music files imported to internal memory.
