Danger of scalding Engine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motorcycle is ridden.
– Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. In case of burns, rinse immediately with lukewarm water.

Environmental hazard Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.
– Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

Only drain the gear oil while the engine is warm.

– Park the motorcycle on a level surface.
– Remove the engine guard. ( p. 65)
– Place a suitable container under the engine.

– Remove the gear oil drain plug with magnet

– Remove gear oil drain plug

– Completely drain the gear oil.
– Clean the gear oil drain plug thoroughly.
– Clean the sealing area on the engine.
– Mount the gear oil drain plug with magnet

and the seal ring and tighten.

– Mount gear oil drain plug

with the seal ring and tighten.

– Clean the gear oil drain plug with the magnet thoroughly.
– Clean the sealing area on the engine.
– Mount the gear oil drain plug with magnet
